Age 64, of Overbrook, unexpectedly on Sunday, November 15, 2015. Beloved husband of Josie Frankel; loving father of Christina (Dan) Furlong and Adam Frankel; grandfather of Nicholas, Matthew and Grace; brother of Bill (Kim) Frankel. Mr. Frankel was a paramedic for the City of Pittsburgh retiring after 38 years of service. He was part of the River Rescue Team, Hazmat Team, Critical Incident Team, as well as serving on the Pension Board for the City of Pittsburgh. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday Only. EMS Memorial Service on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at BRUSCO - NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD., 2201 Bensonia Ave., Pgh., PA 15216. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to National Alliance of Mental Illness of Southwestern Pennsylvania, 105 Braunlich Dr., Suite 200, Pgh., PA 15237.
