Peacefully entered into eternal life with God our Father on Monday, January 11, 2016, at the age of 80. Anthony is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of over 58 years, Gina; his adoring children Anna (Craig) Johnson, Enrico (Carmelina), Maria (David) Schaertel, Tony (Patty), and John (Lori). Anthony treasured his grandchildren, Richard (Jaclyn), Kyle (fiancée Katelyn), Stephen, and Adam Johnson; Nicholas and Andrea Schaertel; Ryan and Matthew Arzenti; Thomas Arzenti; and was blessed to welcome his first great grandchild, Annette Johnson, last year. Anthony was preceded into heaven by his parents, Enrico and Anna Arzenti, and sister Teresa (late Tommaso). Anthony is also survived by sisters, Maria (late Francesco) DeSensi, and Caroline (Ralph) Gigliotti; brother Thomas (late Jean); and many brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends, who all will miss his gentleness and kindness. Anthony was a retired master machinist of 31 years with Dravo Corp.; he was also with the Pittsburgh Housing Authority for 10 years. Anthony served with the U.S. Air National Guard for six years. Friends and family will be welcomed at BRUSCO-NAPIER FUNERAL SERVICE, LTD, 2201 Bensonia Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15216 on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1901 Broadway Avenue, at 10 a.m. on Thursday. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
